BESPOKE PROJECTS
We are often commissioned by individuals to create a completely bespoke item. While these projects will draw upon our core welding and fabrication skills, we also have our own bending facilities and section rollers. We have a large capacity propane forge enabling us to use further specialist techniques to undertake many decorative and bespoke projects ranging from; small hand forged fire side companion sets and hand forged decorative gates, to bespoke garden furniture and structures.

A FEW BESPOKE EXAMPLES...
BESPOKE PROJECT 1: ESTATE FENCING
Estate fencing is an extremely effective way to fence any size of area. It’s both decorative and practical, and can be tailored to your landscape, terrain and taste.
In this case we were approached by the customer to create a fencing solution for a working meadow. Predominantly the fencing was going to be used to aesthetically frame a marquee for a country wedding, so had to look beautiful for the special event. After the wedding the meadow was to be used to keep cattle in, so had to be practical and strong. The customer opted for 5 bar fencing and added in features like a kissing gate for access, safety and of course so it looks beautiful…the cows certainly appreciate it!

BESPOKE PROJECT 2: GARDEN ARCH
We’re often approached by individuals who what garden arches or structures that are out of the ordinary. They’re looking for a more solid, decorative or unusual size that a standard ‘off the shelf’ option won’t be able to fit or accommodate. Our unique service allows us to create a bespoke option that perfectly fits their space or matches their style.
“Armour Engineering made us this wonderful solid iron garden arch. We wanted one 8 feet wide- so asked Paul if he could tailor-make us something simple for our garden. It’s absolutely perfect. Beautifully made, sturdy and extremely well finished. Paul, Jo and team were all very polite, helpful and professional. It arrived painted and in parts (too big to come in one piece- very useful if we ever move house as it can be taken apart and come with us) but took no time to be assembled in situ by them.
